Hello, and welcome to Albian Archive, the first known deviantART club dedicated to the Creatures series.

WHAT IS CREATURES?
Creatures is a computer game series with a goal similar to that found in the Petz and The Sims series: there is no set goal. The game revolves around you raising, teaching, and breeding a population of furry little aliens called norns (along with their cousin species: the scaly, aggressive grendels, and the curious, kleptomatic ettins) on the abandoned planet Albia or a space ship (depending on the game).

If you are still curious, you should pay the Creatures Wiki a visit, as it contains virtually everything you would ever need to know about the series... and then some.



NEWS
July 16, 2008- So, lots of things have occured in the Creatures Community since the last update.

For starters, registration to the Gameware Forums has been shut off, possibly due to spam/user complaints. If you would like to join a third party Creatures forum, please check the links below. Creaturetopia is hosting a discussion on how to lessen or eliminate the spam at GW here if you are interested. Registration at all forums is free.

Edit (July 19)- The GW Forums have now been shut down. I don't know when they'll be put up again, but hopefully this is only a temporary move. Many of the community members can be found at the forums listed below.

In more cheerful news, Creatures Caves has kicked off its (usually) annual Survivor game! Although sign ups have officially closed, you can still catch the beginning of the competition this Sunday (July 20) here.

In breed related news, there has been recently revealed progress on the long-awaited Flaris Norns! Check out Embri's page on their development here: [link] Tarlia is also collecting suggestions on genetic/behavioral traits for many of the official C3/DS "plain" genetic breeds (such as the Fallows, Zebras, Bruins, etc.). If you think you know exactly how Harlequin norns should act, be sure to tell here either at Creaturetopia ( [link] ) or the GW forums ( [link] )!

And just a reminder: I'm still accepting art and stories for this gallery.

If you do not specify what you want in your title, I may miss your request, so please don’t forget to do this! I also request that you please add the club to your watch list and link back to us either in your journal or signature.

Requests to join or affiliate with the club that are not sent via note will be ignored!



SUBMITTING
Gallery submissions will be accepted from club members only. If you would like to submit something, please send a note titled “Submission” to the club including a link to your submission.

There are two rules for submitting art to the club:
Submissions must be Creatures related.
Submissions must adhere to deviantART’s standards; if it’s not allowed on dA to begin with, I’m not going to accept it here.

I will post a thumbnail or excerpt of your submission in the club gallery and link directly back to your original deviation.
