Hello, and welcome to Albian Archive, the first known deviantART club dedicated to the Creatures series.

WHAT IS CREATURES?
Creatures is a computer game series with a goal similar to that found in the Petz and The Sims series: there is no set goal. The game revolves around you raising, teaching, and breeding a population of furry little aliens called norns (along with their cousin species: the scaly, aggressive grendels, and the curious, kleptomatic ettins) on the abandoned planet Albia or a space ship (depending on the game).

If you are still curious, you should pay the Creatures Wiki a visit, as it contains virtually everything you would ever need to know about the series... and then some.



NEWS

November 1, 2009- Happy CCSF everyone! The festival runs from today to November 14th, so go check out the official site ASAP. [link] New releases are scheduled for each day, so be sure to check the site often.

Also, if you'd like to release anything during the CCSF, submissions are still being accepted. Contact 3kul at Creaturetopia or note me at ~Officer-1BDI for more details.

September 13, 2009- The CCSF is coming!

This year's CCSF will run from November 1st to November 14th to commemorate the release of Creatures 3 a decade ago. This year's theme is Time.

I, ~Officer-1BDI, am assisting with the organization of the CCSF this year, so if you have any questions or comments about it, please feel free to note me either here or on my personal dA account.

Albian Archive will, of course, be accepting any CCSF-related fanart or fanfiction submitted before/during that time frame. If you are interested in having your fanworks posted on the main CCSF site, please note me here or PM me in one of the Creatures forums (my screen name is Officer 1BDI in almost all of them). Likewise, if you are interested in submitting something that is NOT able to be uploaded to dA (such as a metaroom or a new breed), please contact me and I'll see what I can do to get it on the official CCSF site.

If you are planning on submitting anything to the official CCSF site, please check the schedule [link] and choose a release date. We would love to be able to release something on every day for that two-week period, so if you are able to submit something for the days that currently lack content we would greatly appreciate it.

To join the club, please send a note titled “Join” to the club. If you would like to become an affiliate, please send a note titled “Affiliate”.

If you do not specify what you want in your title, I may miss your request, so please don’t forget to do this! I also request that you please add the club to your watch list and link back to us either in your journal or signature.

Requests to join or affiliate with the club that are not sent via note will be ignored!



SUBMITTING
Gallery submissions will be accepted from club members only. If you would like to submit something, please send a note titled “Submission” to the club including a link to your submission.

There are two rules for submitting art to the club:
Submissions must be Creatures related.
Submissions must adhere to deviantART’s standards; if it’s not allowed on dA to begin with, I’m not going to accept it here.

I will post a thumbnail or excerpt of your submission in the club gallery and link directly back to your original deviation.

Please do not favorite the submissions in this gallery! If you would like to comment or favorite the art seen here, follow the link posted in the description.
